Online specialty coffee roaster bringing 10 new jobs with expansion in Suwanee

Demand for goods has surged with the usual holiday buying rush, but it is not just seasonal buying on the rise. So the need for workers to been especially acute in warehousing and transportation. Volcanica Coffee, an online specialty coffee roaster that imports 150+ coffees from volcanic regions around the world is doubling the size of their warehouse to 12,447-square-feet at 4110 Tench Rd. in Suwanee. According to Partnership Gwinnett, “the announcement represents 10 new jobs and $150,000 in capital investment for the community.”

The expansion will include new equipment and an increase in coffee inventory.

“We are thrilled to grow into this new facility that will improve our coffee quality due to a new climate-controlled warehouse that will also improve our employee’s work environment,” said CEO and Founder of Volcanica Coffee Maurice Contreras.
