One of the largest fall festivals in the southeast will return to Gwinnett County this weekend for its 38th celebration.
The Duluth Fall Festival will kick off at 8 am. Saturday and go through Sunday afternoon. Downtown will be filled with the sound of live music from more than 20 acts and hundreds of booths selling food and arts and crafts.
The festival typically draws more than 100,000 guests.
A parade will march from Main Street through West Lawrenceville Street to Buford Highway beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by an opening ceremony at 11:30 a.m. A 5K road race through downtown will start at 8 a.m. Sunday.
There will be several park-and-walk and shuttle bus locations spread around Duluth, given the limited availability of downtown parking during the event. Visit www.duluthfallfestival.org for more information about the event.
