On Wednesday at 11:07 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated storm surge watch in effect until 7:15 p.m.
"WIND - LATEST LOCAL FORECAST: Below tropical storm force wind - Peak Wind Forecast: 25-35 mph with gusts to 50 mph," according to the NWS.
