A woman was found dead inside a Roswell apartment Friday morning, police said.

A man has been charged in the death of his girlfriend, whose body was found in an apartment Friday morning, according to Roswell police.

Inga Bruno faces charges of malice murder and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, officials said. He is accused of killing Andreily Acacio Rodriguez, 27. Bruno’s age was not released.

It was just before 8:30 a.m. when Acacio Rodriguez’s family member called police after finding her dead inside one of the units at the Champions Green Apartments on Belmont Drive. When officers arrived, they confirmed her death and that she had suffered “injuries consistent with a homicide.”

“Preliminary information indicates that this was a domestic-related crime,” police spokesperson Officer Tim Lupo said.

Bruno was detained shortly before 10 a.m., and there are no additional suspects, Lupo added.

No other details have been released.
