Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday won the swing state of Georgia – and its 16 electoral votes. The Associated Press declared him the winner at 12:58 a.m. EST.
More than 5.2 million people voted in the general election. This broke the state’s previous record of 5 million voters in the 2020 general election.
