As many embrace all things health and wellness at the start of the new year, Atlanta’s restaurants and bars are helping out with alcohol-free drinks good enough that you won’t miss the booze. These establishments are crafting creative alternatives for the sober-curious.

Studies show that participating in Dry January can lead to better sleep, improved energy levels, clearer skin and lasting changes in drinking habits.

“Explore your options — you don’t need to stick to just simple drinks, like water, tea, and coffee. Booze-free drinking can be enjoyable, and even exciting!” Jackie Newgent, nutritionist and author of “The Plant-Based Diabetes Cookbook,” told Prevention.
