The Falcons got a much-need, albeit sloppy, victory over the Raiders on Monday night. The Falcons changed quarterbacks on Tuesday night.
Head coach Raheem Morris is calling on rookie backup Michael Penix Jr. to start this week’s game against the Giants. Kirk Cousins, the $180 million man, is headed to the bench after five poor weeks that have the Falcons teetering on the verge of missing the playoffs. The move, as announced, is for “moving forward.”
