Georgia is now sending another running back off to the NFL, as Trevor Etienne declared for the 2025 NFL Draft on Tuesday night.

Etienne posted his announcement on social media.

Etienne spent his first two years at Florida before transferring to Georgia for the 2024 season. He rushed for 609 yards and nine touchdowns this season.

Etienne had his best games against Texas, rushing for 181 yards and five touchdowns in two wins over the Longhorns. He did miss three games due to a rib injury, which also limited his production in performances against Ole Miss and Florida.

Despite it being his least productive season in college, Etienne was still extremely proud of what he and the team were able to accomplish this season.

“I mean, it means a lot, man,” Etienne said following the 23-10 loss to Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff. “These are memories with relationships I’ve built with guys and moments that you can never get back, that you’ll remember forever. I will forever look back on these moments. And I’m just blessed to be a part of something this special and glad to have built the relationship with these guys around me.”

As for the running back position beyond Etienne, running back Nate Frazier is expected to take on a larger role for the Bulldogs in 2025. Due to Etienne’s injury, Frazier rushed for a team-high 671 yards to go along with eight touchdowns. Frazier did have issues with fumbling, but he made noticeable gains over the course of the season, specifically as a pass blocker.

Cash Jones will be back as well. He scored Georgia’s only touchdown in the loss to Notre Dame. Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson both struggled with injuries this season. The Bulldogs also will bring back Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips Jr. after each made contributions as freshmen.

Georgia did sign running back Bo Walker as a member of the 2025 signing class. He is from Ellenwood. He is the No. 339 overall player in the class and the No. 24 running back in the class.
