Steakhouse Steak & Grace will open in Dunwoody Village later this year.
The restaurant comes from Barry Mills, the restaurateur behind Big B’s Fish Joint in Sandy Springs.
Located at 1317 Dunwoody Village Parkway in the former First Watch space, the eatery’s menu will feature fire-cooked steaks, seafood, chicken, salads and sandwiches. In an effort to keep prices affordable, executive chef Conor O’Reilly, previously with Fifth Group Restaurants, will create composed dishes that forgo a la carte sides common in steakhouses, according to a news release.
Diners can expect a lunch menu featuring salads, burgers and sandwiches and a weekend brunch menu.
The full bar will include a curated wine list with plenty of by-the-glass options.
“There are several traditional steakhouses in the perimeter area, so we want to differentiate ourselves with the atmosphere and diverse menu,” Mills said in a prepared statement. “We want this to be a neighborhood gathering place where you don’t need a coat and tie. We believe this warm and welcoming style will attract guests of all ages.”
The 3,500-square-foot space will have a “relaxed, fun ambience” with lighter hues, windows, a 15-seat bar and a large patio and outdoor fireplace, according to a news release.
Steak & Grace is Mills’ latest restaurant since Big B’s Fish Joint opened in Sandy Springs in 2019. Mills has been in the restaurant industry since 2008, when he opened upscale burger eatery Flip Burger Boutique on Howell Mill Road alongside “Top Chef” alum Richard Blais. The pair later added hot dog and sandwich restaurant HD1 to their portfolio. Both restaurants have since closed.
Steak & Grace will join Dunwoody Village eateries including Marlow’s Tavern, Valor Coffee, Morty’s Meat & Supply and Royal Spice.
