A man was found shot Sunday at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, officials said.

Atlanta police were called around 3:30 p.m. to the South Terminal and found a man suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to airport spokesperson Herschel Grangent Jr.

“APD arrived on the scene and secured the firearm,” Grangent said in a statement. “The individual was transported to a local hospital, and no one else was injured.”

The man’s name has yet to be released by authorities and it’s unclear if he will be facing any charges. The shooting did not impact airport operations, police said.

Police said officers were “currently investigating the circumstances” regarding the incident.
