UPDATED (Sept. 30, 2024): On Monday, the Georgia Department of Education released data from the Math portion of the latest Georgia Milestones standardized tests. The results show an improvement after the state overhauled its math content standards.

Earlier in July, the state released results for third grade reading and English Language Arts. Those results showed continued gains in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and fears that a generation of students was falling behind.
