Voters in the 3rd Congressional District will encounter a familiar choice when they head to the ballot box in November.

Republican U.S. Rep. Brian Jack will again be running against Democrat Maura Keller, whom he defeated in 2024 by 2-1 margin.

The heavily Republican district stretches from the southwest Atlanta suburbs to the Alabama state line.

Jack, a freshman lawmaker from Peachtree City, is the former White House director of political affairs during President Donald Trump’s first term. He had no GOP primary opponent this year.

Keller, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, won the Democratic primary, with about 61% of the vote.
