One of Georgia Tech’s promising young receivers has decided to play elsewhere in 2026.

Bailey Stockton will enter the NCAA’s transfer portal when it opens Friday, Stockton posted on X on Thursday. Stockton is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound redshirt sophomore who spent three seasons with the Yellow Jackets.

In 11 games this past season, Stockton made 21 catches for 233 yards. He had 17 receptions for 206 yards and caught his lone career touchdown in the Birmingham Bowl loss to Vanderbilt.

Stockton also had 11 punt returns for 115 yards.

A 3-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, Stockton graduated from the Prince Avenue Christian School and redshirted in the 2023 season.

Tech defensive backs Christian Pritchett and D.J. Moore; quarterback Aaron Philo (Stockton’s former high school teammate); offensive linemen Peyton Joseph, Ben Galloway and Tana Alo-Tupuola; and linebacker Melvin Jordan IV already announced their intentions to transfer.
