The Braves continue to inch toward opening day March 27.

The Braves announced Wednesday that reliever Hayden Harris has been sent to Triple-A.
Harris has made a team-high five appearances for the Braves during Grapefruit League play. He had a 1.80 ERA over five innings, giving up one run on a homer, two walks and four hits. Harris also struck out 12 hitters.
A left-hander, Harris made his MLB debut in 2025 with the Braves and pitched in 2.2 innings over three appearances.
Also on Wednesday, the Braves reassigned pitchers Carlos Carrasco, Elieser Hernández and James Karinchak to minor league camp. The Braves now have 50 active players in camp with 16 days left until opening day.
The Braves are still awaiting MRI results for a possible injury to pitcher Joey Wentz's knee. Wentz left Sunday's game against the Rays in Port Charlotte after a collision with a base runner at first base.
Braves pitcher Didier Fuentes is scheduled to make his spring training debut Saturday in a Grapefruit League game against the Orioles.
On Sunday, Bryce Elder is scheduled to start in a game against the Rays in Port Charlotte, Florida. Carlos Carrasco is scheduled to take the ball against the Twins on Monday back at CoolToday Park.
On Thursday the Braves optioned relief pitcher Jhancarlos Lara to Triple-A Gwinnett and sent four other players — Jim Jarvis, Alex Lodise, Luke Waddell and Austin Pope — to minor league camp. Lara did not appear in a game for the Braves during Grapefruit League play.
Pope threw three innings over three games and allowed one hit, a home run. He also struck out four and walked one.
Waddell went 3-for-9 in seven games. Jarvis was 1-for-14 with an RBI in nine games and Lodise was 1-for-8 with a pair of RBIs.
The Braves now have 54 active players in camp.
