Braves center fielder Michael Harris II was removed from Tuesday’s game at Truist Park with what the team announced was “lower back tightness.”
Harris had hit a single to center in the bottom of the first inning and scored from second on an RBI single by Mauricio Dubón. In the top of the second, Harris was replaced in center by Dubón while Eli White took over in left field.
Harris is hitting .306 this season and has already missed games due to a left quad injury and back discomfort.
The Braves got catcher Drake Baldwin back in the lineup Tuesday but are also down right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. who has been on the injured list since June 10 with a hamstring injury.
