Stephanie Renee Lamm

Stephanie Lamm is a data reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She works with data using R, SQL, Python and other tools to uncover stories that would otherwise remain hidden. Stephanie is passionate about making journalism accessible to the most vulnerable communities.
She has worked on investigative stories covering critical issues with public safety infrastructure, widespread abuse of corporate tax breaks, lack of mental health resources in public schools, women dying from overdoses and withdrawal in jails and inadequate public health resources during natural disasters. During the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Stephanie gathered and interpreted public health data so readers could make informed decisions using the most accurate and current information.
Prior to joining the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2022, Stephanie spent 5 years in Texas working for the Dallas Morning News and the Houston Chronicle. Stephanie is a North Carolina native and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
