Looking for something fun to do with your family this weekend in Atlanta? DreamHack brings three days of gaming, cosplay, creator and voice actor appearances and more to the Georgia World Congress Center. And the Virginia Highland District Porchfest hosts more than 100 bands on the community’s porches as visitors are invited to stroll from one performance to the next.

DreamHack Atlanta

Immerse yourself in a gaming experience with professional esports tournaments, amateur and high school gaming tournaments, creator and voice actor appearances, cosplay, art, screenings and more.

Virginia Highland District Porchfest

More than 100 local bands will perform on porches, and vendors and food trucks will also be on-site.

11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, May 16. $15 in advance, $20 at the gate, free for youth 18 and under with a chaperone or ID. Participating Virginia Highland neighborhood homes near the intersection of Virginia Avenue Northeast and North Highland Avenue, Atlanta.

Atlanta Cycling Festival

Get your bike and participate in events such as a beginners class and a ride to four doughnut shops.

Lil’palooza

The Children’s Museum of Atlanta hosts a kid-centric musical festival where guests can party with Rumi from Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” sing along with a puppet band, enjoy a magic show, dance in the Kidz Club, get temporary tattoos, create a flower crown and more.

Marietta Greek Festival

Be Greek for a day (or three) by indulging in authentic Greek foods and enjoying a marketplace, dance and music performances and guided church tours.

Paws Fest

Bring your pet out for a tail-wagging good time that includes the DockDogs team showcasing their speed, agility and impressive leaps into the water as well as pet adoptions, photo ops with your pet, vendors, music and food and drink options.

The Friends of the Decatur Library will sell used books with most hardbacks costing $2 and most paperbacks $1.
